Buying a Number Plate At NetPlates

Buying a private number plate through NetPlates is easy. We go to great lengths to make it that way.

How to Buy

At the top of this page, you'll find a search box, into which you can enter any term you wish. Search as many times as you need in order to find a plate that interests you.

Each search result will offer you a Buy button, which you can simply click to begin the purchase process.

The plate transfer is all part of our service. We will liaise with the DVLA on your behalf. You can relax as we handle the details, and you'll be glad to know that we don't charge for the handling of the transfer - although it's worth noting that the DVLA have a mandatory transfer fee, which we'll need to add in. You'll always be clearly informed of the full, all-inclusive cost when you purchase through Netplates.

Extras if You Wish

By default, the transfer is handled electronically. You can, alternatively, opt to transfer by post, at a small additional fee. And it won't matter whether or not you have a vehicle ready and waiting for the plate. We can send you a retention certificate, which gives you a full ten years to decide where you want the registration to go.

Our purchase process gives you plenty of options. Some people don't need physical plates; others do. We can supply your registration either way. If you need physical plates, we have multiple options available, including standard, 3D gel, and 4D acrylic. We offer fixing kits in a choice of types. Just make the selections you want, fill in your details on our short form, and we'll take over from there.

We major on communication, and if there's anything you need to know, you can be sure we'll keep you informed. Although we're an online business, behind the scenes it's human beings across the board. If you get stuck with anything, or you just need some reassurance, you can call our office between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday, and our Dream Team will be here to help you out.

So why not start the process today with a few simple searches? You never know what you might find.
